Children are the same everywhere

I had a chance to visit a kindergarten school in the UAE. Other than the Arabic words around the room, it looks like most  other kindergartens in the United States.
The children are all neatly dressed in uniforms. They love to run and shout and play, like typical 4 and 5 year olds. In the classroom, the teachers have modern facilities like whiteboards.
They have many different resources and the rooms are brightly  decorated to stimulate learning. The children eat  lunch at school and use the playground before returning home around 12:15.I had a chance to read a story to the class.
I also took attendance. It was interesting to say their names as some were unfamiliar to me. I watched them play games in the playground. Some mothers visited the classroom and were eager for tips on how to  improve their child's performance and asked for resources to work with at home.
The bottom line- parents and children are pretty much the same all around the world. Each parent wants their child to be successful and children enjoy learning and playing with other children.
